I’m Simon Jones, a freelance videographer based in Wrexham, North Wales, with a passion for crafting visually compelling stories. My expertise spans videography, editing, sound design, and documentary filmmaking, allowing me to bring creative projects to life with a cinematic touch.

I graduated from Wrexham University in 2025 with a BSc Hons in Television Production, where I developed a strong technical foundation in all aspects of filmmaking. Over the years, I’ve refined my skills using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and Logic Pro, ensuring that every project I work on meets professional standards.

In 2021, I founded Grey Rhino Productions, driven by the vision of "Creating Cinematic Stories from North Wales." As a freelance sole trader, I specialize in a range of projects, including corporate events, music concerts, music videos, and documentary filmmaking. I thrive on collaborating with clients to capture their vision and transform it into a compelling visual narrative.

Storytelling has always been at the heart of what I do. Whether it's documenting real-life stories through documentaries, capturing the energy of live events, or crafting engaging promotional content, I aim to create work that resonates with audiences on an emotional level. One of my proudest achievements is directing my own short film, Shattered Innocence, a project that truly reinforced my love for filmmaking.
